Welcome to tSage Center for Change!


We're so glad you're here. Perhaps you're visiting us because you or someone you know is experiencing challenges in the area of mental or emotional health or in your relationships--and now is the time for change.

​You may feel “stuck” in some area of your life: whether it is career or academic. You may have difficulty in your relationship with a partner, family member, child, co-worker/boss or other that is causing you pain and distress. You or someone you may know, may be suffering with behavioral, intellectual or developmental challenges that.  You may be concerned about your own or a loved one’s use of alcohol or drugs.  Perhaps you have parenting concerns or Department of Child and Family Services involvement or supervised visitation/exchange needs. 

If you desire to learn how to establish healthier boundaries or if you are interested in examining your life, you are in the right place.  We hope to inspire you to reflect on the quality of your life and decide for yourself how you want to change-- and we can help.

tsage Center for Change, Inc proudly services individuals and groups from all walks of life-- including male, female, LGBTQ, youth, adults, elderly individuals, couples, families, groups and organizations.

​tsage center for change, Inc collaborates with the broader network of service providers to host activities such as annual community wellness and resource fairs, needs assessments, life enrichment programs, behavior health, psychological services, health/family, education programs, mentorship programs, referrals, and a shared resource data bank.

Meet Dr. Tanya Gilbert, Founder

“My mission is to help those seeking help to move forward in their life. I draw upon a holistic approach to provide a wide variety of services geared towards life enrichment through building an alliance that fosters self-awareness, growth, acceptance, and empowerment that enables clients to maximize their personal and professional potential that are tailored to their specific needs. I integrate the principles that motivate behavior change with each person’s unique experiences to create a realistic approach for addressing life's challenges, through exploration and discovery to identify and build relationships, skills, and systems needed to move forward in a confident and secure way no matter where they are in their life journey” - Dr. Tanya Gilbert.


Dr. Tanya Gilbert is a Transformational Coach that assists and directs her clients to change the way they see themselves. Her areas of expertise consist of personal and professional development, spiritual counseling, relationships, behavior management, and motivational speaking.

​She is also the Founder of tSage Center for Change, which is a non-profit with a variety of services geared towards life enrichment through building an alliance that fosters self-awareness, acceptance, growth, and empowerment that enables clients to maximize their personal and professional potential. Dr. Gilbert has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and specializes in Client-Centered Psychotherapy.

She has worked over 25 years in mental health hospitals; addictions residential and outpatient programs; community agencies; medical centers; colleges and universities providing service to individuals, couples, families, groups, and organizations from a diverse population of adolescents to older adult males, females, LGBTQ+, and the dually diagnosed and severely mentally ill. Dr. Gilbert worked as a Teaching Assistant for graduate-level courses at Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Chicago, IL. She also provides training to corporate clients and helps identify employee problems, creating intervention plans, conflict resolution, stress reduction, communication, and anger management.
