Anger Management
Anger is a normal symptom of feeling betrayed, ripped off, abused, and feeling powerless. Anger is something everyone feels, just at different intensities. Anger becomes a problem when a person’s coping skills are at their limit and there is not a safe, responsible way to express it.
At tsage center for change the Anger Management program has appropriate levels available for teenagers through older adults. Clients learn to handle anger and release it responsibly. We assists you in exploring the sources of your anger and provide a safe environment for releasing the pent-up anger and to discover ways to heal. When a person doesn’t have a safe and healthy way to express their anger, expression of anger can turn into yelling and screaming, physical violence that leads to multiple negative consequences. Unexpressed anger can lead to addictions, depression, health problems, and low self-esteem. Perhaps worst of all, it will keep you from being happy and fulfilled.
The program guides you in discovering what is at the core of your anger. We will help you to identify, resolve and release the source of your angry feelings in constructive and respectful way. As a result of participating in the anger management program you can:
Decrease overall intensity and frequency of anger
Develop awareness of current angry behavior
Clarify source of and alternatives to angry feeling
Become capable of handling angry feelings in constructive ways that improve daily functioning.
Here are some of the most common signs of anger problems. If you exhibit a fair number of these common signs of anger, consider the consequences if you don't change.
